****RTR (Jan 18-27) and WRTR (Jan 14-17) Preliminary Schedule of Seminars and Break-Out Sessions at


• We met with Law Enforcement and Parker Town officials regarding safety and logistical issues for participants during and on the way to the RTR & WRTR. Here is important information they asked us to relay to you:
o RR xing without bells or arms to stop traffic; so, stop and make sure safe to cross. Trains run fast there.
o Blind hill just before fairground, watch for big rigs exiting county facility on the right, on Hillside Ave
o 35 MPH speed limit
o Parker 425 on Jan 24th & 25th (Fri & Sat) brings:
 dust that permeates the air
 congestion,
 In-town road closure for both mornings on California Av/Hwy 95 from 19th to Agency, between 6am-11am (slow detour available)
 Faster drivers on highways
 In-Town congestion again on 22nd during 「Meet the Drivers」
 Highly recommend that folks do not camp in or near the town of Parker after the 21st (Shea Rd and Earp, CA)
